Queen Anne Cottage in Downtown Decatur

We visited the area for both work and pleasure. Thrilled to be in such a beautiful home that was offered large rooms for comfort and relaxing. The space gave us plenty of "work" space without feeling crowded to also enjoy the evening and weekend. The screened back porch is such a bonus! Walking daily throughout the neighborhood continued to surprise us with friendly neighbors, restaurants, parks, shops and lovely green spaces. Definitely will visit again!

We were a group of four women meeting up for a work retreat and the house was perfect for that. The house was private, spacious, attractive and clean. They were very responsive, as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The home is spacious, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the linens and towels are high-quality. There’s plenty of natural light throughout the house, which made it feel bright and welcoming. The backyard is absolutely beautiful. It’s lush, expansive, and a great space to relax. The location is also a big plus- only about 20 minutes from the airport, the aquarium, and many things to do. We had a small maintenance issue upon arrival, but the host responded immediately and had it taken care of very quickly. Communication was excellent, and the host went above and beyond to accommodate us, which we truly appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to others!

Lovely residence with historic registration. It is comfortable and well appointed with good flow for company. The street is busy, but there is a nice yard with ample parking inside the perimeter. Good neighborhood for walking and/or running. Great eateries nearby and close to downtown Decatur. Walking distance to Agnes Scott College.

Five of us enjoyed our stay in this spacious and comfortable home. The rooms are large and the common areas are open and bright. The kitchen was clean and adequately equipped. The beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed gave good rest. The house is located on a busy street that quiets down at night and the back yard is calm and inviting. The location was perfect for our activities. The host was responsive to our questions. We had a great experience and recommend this home.

Our family loved Talia’s home for our visit to Decatur. It was very spacious inside and out and the location felt very private with the mature trees surrounding the home. The beds were very comfortable and the master shower was like a spa. It had everything we needed to feel at home and we hope to stay again when we are in the area!

Nice comfortable space. In a beautiful area, had access to everything we needed ie:grocery store, gas stations, and restaurants. The only thing that was not great was the exterior of the home. Being in a larger size property there were a lot of spiders that unfortunately would spin their webs through the walkway every evening, making it an adventure every night to get through the front door. But once inside it was a warm cozy environment.

This was a great house. It’s even better than the pictures show. The air conditioning was on point! It’s definitely an older house and when you start to walk up to the house, you might be a little hesitant, but the inside is absolutely amazing. They have taken care of all of the small details even down to shampoos and soaps in the bathrooms. The bed linens and the bed are what you would expect from a hotel but yet never get in a hotel! So comfortable I never wanted to get out of bed in the morning. It’s right off the main road so there’s a lot of car traffic but they have put up all these trees in shrubs so you can’t see it. And when you’re outside, you can really hear it but when you’re in the house, you can’t except at night when you are going to sleep, you can hear some of the car traffic. But none of it was bothersome at all. I would come back to this house anytime!

The inside of this home is absolutely wonderful! It's spotless clean, spacious and has super comfortable beds & a well appointed kitchen & baths. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely & we felt completely safe. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the exterior of the home. The outside is definitely in need of a little maintenance. There are two large planters that have collapsed & spilled dirt all around, the white lanterns are all tattered & torn and several were strewn about the yard, a string of lights was falling down around the firepit, and the rocker on the back porch has a broken seat so not comfy to sit in. We also found dirty diapers around the outdoor trash bin when we arrived. All that being said...the INSIDE of this home is AMAZING! I only tell these things because we were a little shocked and concerned UNTIL we walked inside. It was nearly 100* during our stay so we didn't spend much time outside anyway so it worked perfectly for our stay. We went to several restaurants and coffee shops downtown & in Oakhurst and all were only a few minutes drive.

Beautiful spacious home and large peaceful backyard. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities. Some traffic noise at night but nothing that kept us awake. Close to restaurants and easy drive to Stone Mountain Park and the Botanical Garden. Definitely recommend.

I booked this house for my son's wedding in Decatur. It was the PERFECT home for the event - we previously lived in Decatur on Clairemont Ave so this house brought back so many wonderful memories. Beautiful interior and exterior for first-look and pre-wedding photos. Talia was quick to respond if I had any questions and she made our stay flawless. We very much enjoyed our stay at The Queen Anne Cottage. The accommodations were clean, cozy and spacious at the same time with very tasteful decor. We were there for an event at Agnes Scott College, so it was a nice walk through campus and then up into the cute little town of Decatur. We also very much enjoyed the porches and beautiful backyard.

The host was exceptionally helpful and responsive, quickly resolving a minor issue we had during our stay and also offering recommendations. The house had a lot of historic charm, was clean, and overall an enjoyable stay. There is a lot of street noise at this property. I would definitely recommend packing a noise machine or earplugs for your stay

We loved staying in this home. It is roomy with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to gather. The backyard is amazing and provided a relaxing hang out after a busy day of touring.

This home is absolutely beautiful! My favorite room was the family room in the back with all the windows allowing natural light in. For those who are light sleepers, be aware that the house is close to a busy street and traffic can be heard inside.

We really enjoyed all the space the home had to offer. The kitchen had all the tools we needed and the bathrooms were very clean. The house was a little pricey for this time of year but it was close to everything so it was convenient. The home was comfortable and met our needs. The traffic on the road was a little noisy but it didn’t disturb us too badly. The yard is amazing but unfortunately the weather wasn’t nice enough for us to take advantage of it. Nice stay overall.

Excellent location we used this place to go to the Hawks game and the aquarium downtown. There are restaurants close (walkable) and it was a great overall experience. Our kids enjoyed the huge back yard space and creek to play in. Highly recommend this place and it was very clean!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a perfect place close to Decatur and Emory. We loved the larger room (relaxed fit). Perfect for us as we have one of our children at Emory and we bring the other one down for a family get together.

For anyone looking for a 2-bedroom rental, this is a great house. Bedrooms and living areas were very spacious...probably even larger than what the photos suggest. Plenty of parking space in the driveway. The kitchen and eating area is great. Although we ate out our entire space, the kitchen was very well appointed and it would work for anyone wanting to cook meals. Linens and towels were high quality and beds were comfortable. Great experience.

We loved our stay at this location. The house is roomie and open, but with a dated charm. The back yard is large and open. All this and we were only a couple of minutes from downtown Decatur.

WOW! The pics of the home were beautiful but when we got there we were all just blown away with how gorgeous this home is! It has historical integrity and the upgrades highlight its charm perfectly! I rented the home for my wedding (bridesmaids getting ready) and it was just amazing with the natural lighting and PLENTY of space! The home is much larger than it appears! We were so pleased and I wish I could have moved in!!

This cottage was perfect. We needed a place to stay while some work was being done in our home nearby. It was very peaceful with a beautiful yard, easy to access and we felt right at home. There was a great office space for me to work and I loved the furniture and layout in the kitchen for gathering as a family.

The cottage was very well equipped for our stay. The beds were comfortable, the house was spacious and a nice big backyard for our kids to run and play. A nice welcome gift on the kitchen counter made us feel right at home.

This is a lovely historic home with updated kitchen and bathrooms. The modern living room and screened in porch were spacious and perfect for our family. The outdoor patio and fire pit were nicely situated under large mature oaks.

Amazing house in Decatur lots of square footage and spacious floor plan. Master bathroom was a standout with extra long jacuzzi tube and connected shower. Screened in back porch with fire pit were a hit. I would recommend this place and hope to come back with the family and pets!

We had an amazing staycation at this historic Decatur home! The home was absolutely beautiful and we just fell in love with it. The bed, shower, and tub were luxurious. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the extra touches like the bath robes, coffee, sparkling water, prosecco, and the dog toys on the deck. Meha and Atlanta Airbnb really went above and beyond to make our stay feel like a 5 star hotel. The yard was incredible and our dog had a blast running around by the creek. The location is perfect for exploring Decatur and Oakhurst. We walked to Kimball house for oysters and hit up a few coffee shops in Decatur square. The only sad thing is 1) we had to leave eventually and 2) this house is not for sale. We will definitely be staying here again or recommending it to family and friends who come visit Atlanta.

We loved the back porch...beautiful and very relaxing. We had a little problem with the ice maker and Josh came quickly and repaired it and was so kind and helpful!! The grounds are so lovely and there are many restaurants and things to do! Communication was swift and very friendly. The home is clean and has every comfort you may need for an extended visit. The shower in the main bedroom is easy to get in and out of which is important for older visitors. Overall, an excellent place to stay and the relaxing environment helped us to enjoy our son's wedding even more!!

Immaculate house Nestled on a very large lot between City of Decatur,Kirkwood and Oakhurst. I loved the house itself and My dogs were in HEAVEN. The screened back porch overlooks a very large back yard teeming with wildlife. At one point there were four hawks in the trees watching as another feasted on his catch. The front yard and side patio are fenced and private. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large, very clean and beautifully appointed. The kitchen was well stocked, and the family room spacious. Don’t hesitate. Book Now!

One of the most beautiful vacation rental homes we’ve stayed in! Very clean and comfortable, obvious attention to detail, had all the amenities, beautiful setting, and close to everything we needed to get to in Decatur. It is off a busy street (minimal traffic noise didn’t bother us) and finding the driveway was tricky at first, but so worth it once you check in. We absolutely loved our stay, and Meha and Leslie were wonderful hosts. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.

One of the nicest AirBnb's I've ever stayed in. A very spacious and comfortable home, that's even nicer than pictured. Was perfect for our two young families - 4 adults and 2 infants in total. Well equipped with kitchen tools, games, etc. The house is located on a somewhat busy road, but the yard feels very tranquil and the noise didn't bother us at all. Decatur is a gorgeous area to base yourself in for a weekend in Atlanta. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home.

We loved this location and the privacy with the backyard. We felt the home was cozy and well equipped with kitchen utensils and necessities. We wished the bedroom and bathroom doors had locks, just since we were traveling with our children. We also felt slightly rushed to leave when the cleaners arrived right at 10am and we were trying to get out of the house. We would definitely consider booking again bc of location and comfort in the home.

Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. TV/entertainment was up to date and made it easy for us to use our streaming services while there. Would stay again if needed.

We had a great stay at the cottage! It is beautifully appointed, a perfect farmhouse that makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk up to the porch and through the front door. The kitchen is warm and great for cooking and gathering. We loved all of the windows and natural light. It was the main reason I choose this home to begin with and it didn't disappoint. Our 2 year old loved being able to look for birds and squirrels from all of the windows, and especially while having breakfast at the rustic farm table. The home has a very open feel, it is much larger than the photos can tell you with fantastically high ceilings. Again, our little one enjoyed the space to run up and down the hall from the foyer to the family room, lol. The electric fireplace in the living room was perfect in the chilly, rainy evenings. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, we all slept great and were quite cozy. If we make it to this area again, we would definitely book this home again.

We have staying in a lot of AirBnBs all over the world and this one is absolutely one of the tops! Beautiful home, very well appointed, lots of space in a pristine environment. Just gorgeous!

My family had a lovely stay at this location! It was perfect for my parents, me, my husband and our toddler. It's a great location to get to Atlanta and Decatur and has great local restaurants, coffee shops and breweries. My father does not travel much, hates hotels and was skeptical about an Airbnb but has been raving to all his retired friends since their return. Bonus that there is laundry, since we were traveling with my one year old. The yard/porch is great for sitting outdoors and soaking up that Georgia sunshine! My family had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

We were in Atlanta on short notice as my daughter who was the list for a kidney transplant at Piedmont I, her mother was there to be with her during surgery and during her recovery We did not have a lot of time to research, we were at a hotel first and my son in law found this place How lucky were we the house was absolutely beautiful and as my daughter said like a luxury spa. The back screened porch was a healing haven . But more importantly the kindness and compassion from Talia and her team was above and beyond. My daughter had multiple complications and I needed to extend my visit a few times and they worked with us every step of the way, with no pressure, as we were not sure of a final date .Not having that worry allowed me to focus on my daughter. They really cared about making our family comfortable during this stressful time. Although we did not get to enjoy much of Decatur, we did enjoy some great restaurants I can’t say enough about this fabulous place

This house was absolutely perfect for a weekend away from home. It was close to many things in Decatur. The inside of the house is beautiful and exceeded all of our expectations. We will definitely be staying here again.

This place is gorgeous! It’s so close to Decatur, but tucked away in it’s own world. I highly recommend anyone staying here for convenience of location to so many great restaurants. However, if you just wanted to just hang out here you would be perfectly happy. Also, the house is just comfortable.
