2020 is just over two months away, can you believe it?!
As we reach the end of October, the primary thought in most of our minds is Halloween. So here’s a quick list of some family-friendly Halloween fun you can have in Atlanta:
Stone Mountain Park: Pumpkin Festival
Every weekend during the month of October, Stone Mountain Park hosts its Pumpkin Festival. There’s a pie-eating contest, a big dance party, along with carnival-style games and a parade.
The highlight of the festival is definitely “Glow By Night”, which showcases more illuminated jack-o-lanterns than your kids will know what to do with. This a guaranteed good time for the whole family.

Zoo Atlanta: Boo at the Zoo
On the 26th and 27th, Zoo Atlanta is hosting “Boo at the Zoo.” This event will have a live DJ, a costume party, an inflatable corn maze, and some treats to munch on while you’re running around.

Fernbank Museum: Dinosaur Trick-or-Treat
One of my personal favorite places in all of Atlanta is our Fernbank Museum.
On October 26th, your family can visit this museum for its “Dinosaur Trick-or-Treat.” There will be plenty of games and treats for kids in costumes, along with a life-sized Giganotosaurus replica.
Also, what’s a Halloween event for kids without a dance party, right?!
